CNC Machine Operator

Job Duties:

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes) to produce precision metal or plastic parts

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders

• Load raw materials and secure them properly in the machine

• Input program instructions into CNC controls and monitor machine operations

• Adjust machine settings (speed, feed rate, depth of cut) as needed

• Perform routine quality inspections using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

• Ensure finished products meet specifications and tolerances

• Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and report major issues to maintenance

• Change cutting tools and maintain tool inventory

• Deburr and finish parts as required

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines

• Document production numbers and complete required reports

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment

Pay range – $18 to $24/HR
